Just some things.

1. The Cause was great last nite. Fictional Blues, my new favorite song, is definitely their power pop single. Ben has some new amazingly hot rock moves.

2. Bright Eyes is playing 9:30 Club in January. I will have to see if I buy the new album, since I swore off Conor Oberst after the blizzardy winter of 2002/03.

3. My good friend, Emily, is coming to town this weekend. We will get to run all over D.C. and do all the fun touristy things.

4. Sonic Youth and music critic Alex Ross are speaking at GW on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. as park of the New Yorker College Tour.
