Events update
If you love the Hard Tomorrows and are eagerly awaiting their CD release, I know about an event to tide you over.
On Wednesday night, at Polly's Cafe on U Street, Rob Pierangeli is playing an acoustic set at 9:00 p.m. Also playing that evening, are Aaron, Sean and Tom with their new unnamed band. I saw them at Tim/Mark's Afternoon Delight this weekend, and they really blew me away. Aaron has an incredible voice. So don't miss this show.
If you can't make that show, then be sure to check him out on September 23 at Iota. Rob is opening for the Sketches and the Upwelling.

I don't think it's official, but the Estes band has going going by the name "The Westvilles" - FYI.
and i keep calling them "tess of the d'urbervilles." or maybe "house of seven gables" although that's better suited for math rock i suppose. i'm getting a literary vibe for sure though. let's ask a psychic.
